Protocols for sanitation and infection

We have well-established protocols for infection control and have increased sanitation and preventative measures across the clinics and mobile services to protect you as well as our staff. For your information:

  • Both you and your therapist must wash hands before and after a physiotherapy session.
  • After washing hands it is strongly recommended that you do not touch your hair or face.
  • Unless receiving hands on treatment, you and your therapist must ensure a distance of 1.5m between each other.
  • Rehabilitation equipment or massage tables will all be wiped down with antibacterial wipes between sessions by your therapist. We will also provide gloves should you wish to take further precautions.

For mobile consultations, the session will take place outside if weather permits. If an inside consultation is necessary, we request you lay down a sheet for the portable massage table that can be placed into the wash. And if your wish, your therapist will wear a mask and gloves.

Finally, we closely follow the guidance provided by the Australian Government Department of Health: Novel Corona Virus Health Alert
